The background: It's 1945, the Surrealist artist came back from the United States to France and starts painting landscapes, abstract works and continues to explore erotic thematic. In 1949, Nesto Jacometti together with Pierre Cailler founds the " International Guild of Etching " and ,in 1955, “ L'Œuvre gravée ”, two editorial initiatives contributed to rinnovate the Graphic Art .
