The background: From United States the Surrealist artist came back to France in 1945 and painted landscapes, abstract works and continued to explore erotic thematic . In 1950 Masson writed “ Le Plaisir de peintre” . In the same time, in 1949, N. jacometti together with P. Cailler founded the "International Guild of etching" and, in 1955, “ L'Œuvre gravée” , two editorial initiatives contributed to rinnovate the Graphic Art.
