Paul Guiramand was born in 1926 in Saint-Quentin, France. When he was 30, he moved to Paris and began studying at the Ville de Paris and continued at the “Ecole des Beaux-Arts School”. In his artistic career, he took inspiration from Picasso and Matisse, as well as from Masaccio and Piero Della Francesca, whom he saw when he traveled to Italy. In 1953, he was awarded the “Prix de Rome”. Since then, he has taken part in many exhibitions in both the UK and the USA. He died in 2008.
