Male Portraits is a beautiful original pencil drawing on cream-colored paper made by the Italian artist Ildebrando Urbani (1901 - 1985).
Realized by a skilled hand, this double-sided sheet composed by a male profile with hat on the recto and on the verso two male portraits with hats very rapidly sketched, reveals all its beauty in the freshness of the lines, and the sapient touch of the artist.
A white cardboard passepartout is included ( 34 x 49 cm). In excellent conditions except for some imperceptible defects on the edges.
Ildebrando Urbani (1901-1985)
The Italian artist Urbani participated in numerous editions of the National Art Quadrennial of Rome from 1931 to 1956 and at the Venice Biennial in 1940 and 1942. He later moved to Madrid where he continued the exhibition activity.
