Couple of Lovers is a superb original pencil drawing on cream-colored paper made in 1932 by the Italian artist Ildebrando Urbani .
Hand-signed in capital letters and dated in pencil on the lower right margin "Urbani / Nemi, 1932".
Realized by a skilled hand as a rapid sketch exalting the fresh lines, this modern artwork, representing a couple of lovers portrayed in a romantic and intimate pose, is in excellent conditions, except for some folds of the paper on the right margin, and some yellow stains on the lower margin. A white cardboard passepartout is included (49 x 34 cm).

Ildebrando Urbani (1901-1985)
The Italian artist Urbani participated in numerous editions of the National Art Quadrennial of Rome from 1931 to 1956 and at the Venice Biennial in 1940 and 1942. He later moved to Madrid, where he continued the exhibition activity.
