Lithographie originale  is an original print by the Cuban artist Wifredo Lam  (Sagua la Grande, 1902 - Paris, 1982).

This color lithograph on wove paper was edited by the French magazine XXe Siécle , and published on the Panorama 74 - Le Surréalisme II , number issue  XLIII , Paris, in 1974.   Edited under the direction of the Italian art editor Gualtieri di San Lazzaro, the founder of the review.

The Lithograph :

Artistic printing is a technique with which artworks could be multiplied through the use of engraved matrices and could become very popular. There is a large variety of engraving techniques defined by the matrix material. A wonderful French art magazine, the  XXe siècle  was founded by  Gualtieri di San Lazzaro , pseudonym of Giuseppe Antonio Leandro Papa (1904-1974), writer and Italian art editor.
