Correspondence by Carrà
This Correspondence by Carlo Carrà to the Countess Anna Laetitia Pecci-Blunt, written in Italian and in 1938, consisting of two autograph letters signed, deal with his succesfull exhibition in The Comet Art Gallery in New York and in Barbarons Gallery in Milan .
O n headed notepaper “ L’Ambrosiano – Giornale quotidiano – Via L. Settala n.22 – Milano (118) – Redazione” with newspaper banner. Excellent condition.

•.Autograph Letter Signed. Milan, November 17th 1938 . One page, double-side.
Carlo Carrà requests confirmation that his paintings have been shipped from New York (where his exhibition took place) to Milan in the first half of November, in time for a new exhibition. . The paintings, exhibited in the Countess’s New York Gallery, are due to be shown at an exhibition of Carrà’s work at the Barbarons Gallery in Milan
•.Autograph Letter Signed. Milan, November 18th 1938. One page, double-sided.
Extremely urgent letter in reply to a letter from Contessa Pecci-Blunt, which crossed in the post with a registered letter Carrà had sent the day before. He again asks for confirmation that the paintings for his exhibition in Milan, which is about to open, have been sent. He thanks the Countess for a cheque for 5,500 lire for " Port of Malta " and " Natura Mista" .
