Y se le quema la casa  is an original artwork realized by the artist Francisco Goya and published for the first time in 1799.

Etching on paper.

The etching is part of the Third Edition of "Los Caprichos" published in 1868 by the Calcografia Nacional for the Real Academia of Madrid.
The Edition includes 80 original plates.
Plate N. 18. Numbered on the upper right corner.
Titled on the lower central margin " Y se le quema la casa " (And he burns his house).

Mint conditions.

The expression of the lazy, disheveled and incapable person, perhaps drunk, shows his absence of the true life and an unconsciousness that does not notice the most serious dangers. The plate indeed represents a man and a chair in flames on the right side.
