Latin District is a beautiful original lithography artwork on ivory-colored paper, made by the Swedish illustrator and reporter Adolf Reinhold Hallman in 1930 ca.
The state of preservation is excellent.
On the back, the blue ink stamp " Made in Italy by Adolf Hallman, 54 Via Margutta Roma " on the lower right corner of the sheet.
Including a white cardboard Passepartout, cm 34 x 49.
Titled on the rear and beside the title written "N. 8", in pen.
The artwork represents the crowd in the landscape through intense black, by well-defined silhouette, created a poetical artwork.
Adolf Hallman (1893 – 1968) was a Swedish illustrator who sensibly contributed to Swedish, Danish and Norwegian newspapers and magazines, including Tidens Tegn, Dagbladet, Exlex and Politiken. Among his books is På Boulevard Europa . He illustrated editions of Charles Baudelaire's Fleurs du Mal and Guy de Maupassant's Boule de Suif .
