Fruhling
Frühling is a wonderful black and white photogravure of the original painting by Arnold Böcklin (Basel, 1827 - Fiesole, 1901), probably edited by Bruckmann in the last decade of the nineteenth century.
In excellent conditions, with trimmed edges and some very light damages on the edges, a repaired tear is visible only on the back and minor defects do not disfigure the artwork preserved in all its beauty.
This is an incredibly faithful copy of the original masterpiece by Bocklin, representing the contagious joy caused by spring: two lovers are enjoying music, an observer is looking at the surface of a lake not far from there, and the landscape is full of flowers. A beautiful artwork with the talent of a master of Symbolism, at an affordable price!
