With an affectionate handwritten dedication to the Countess from the artist himself, dated 18 January 1953  and signed " Capogrossi ".

Introduction by Corrado Cagli ( 1910-1976).

Giuseppe Capogrossi  (1900 - 1972) was a famous Italian painter, especially known for the foundation of the so-called Scuola Romana ("Roman School"), together with Corrado Cagli and Emanuele Cavalli. He was the protagonist of a very personal  Abstractism.
