André Masson (Balagny-sur-Thérain,1896 - Paris, 1987) was a French artist, well-known as part of the Surrealism. He was a painter but also a sculptor and printmaker. His work of printmaking is mainly related to the book illustration, and the 14 albums he created. He contributed to roughly 120 books over the course of his career.
