LIPPY LIPSHITZ (Russia, 1903 – Israel, 1980) Along with, M. Kottler and Anton van Wouw, Lipshitz is well known as one of the most famous South African sculptors , although his Lithuanian origins .

Interesting Thank-you Card by the Surrealist artist Lippy Lipshitz to the Art Graphic Editor N. Jacometti, who will have to write a preface concerning new carvings. One of these is shown on the front-postcard and dedicated to Nesto. He signes "Ton vieux amie Lippy" ( Your long-life friend Lippy ".
