Digigraph is a technique of art printing, born with the introduction of computer systems in visual arts, added to the more ancient and traditional printing methods, such as woodcut, engraving, lithography, screen printing, etc.
With this technique, the artist creates an image on the computer, with the aid of a graphics software and, therefore, that file becomes the matrix of the digigraph. Later on, the image is printed on paper or other media through digital inkjet printing.
This technique offers the advantage of granting the artists total control of production on their prints.
