Paturage. Clair de lune   is a beautiful etching realized by C onstant Troyon  in 19th century.

In Good condition. Worn paper and some stains on the back. on the lower margin the title of the artwork. On the right-lower margin “ Ben Damman sculp.”,  and in left-lower “ Troyon pinx”.  The sheet is mounted on a cardboard passepartout (34 x 49 cm). 

Constant Troyon  (1810 -1865) was a French painter of the Barbizon school.  In the early part of his career he painted mostly landscapes. It was only comparatively late in life that Troyon found his  métier  as a painter of animals, and achieved international recognition.
