Fresh and contrasting artwork representing a nude figure in front of a mirror. The work is realized with a single color and the shape of the nude figure is well-defined. The female figure, maybe a model in the studio of the artist, is watching in front of the mirror and, on the left side, there are the typical objects and tools that can be found in an artist's studio.

This work has been realized by Raoul Domenjoz (Lausanne, 1896 - 1978) from a Swiss School. He studied at the School of Art of Lausanne and Geneva  and, in 1912, in the Academy of Art of Paris. He exhibited at the Salon d'Automne, des Indépendants and des Tuileries. He take an important place among the French painters of Paris in the École de Paris. He is also the author of the wall decorations in Vevey and Lausanne.
