Maurice Asselin (Orléans, 1882 - Neuilly-sur-Seine, 1947), French figurative painter and engraver of the École de Paris , Maurice Asselin is best-known for his still-lifes and for his female figures. Another recurring theme in his production is maternity, which achieves high levels of delicacy. He usually dedicates to his Brittany the watercolors and the landscape paintings.
