La Tessitrice
La Tessitrice is a beautiful color lithograph on cream-colored paper, realized in 1952 by the Italian artist Massimo Campigli .
Hand-signed in pencil and in capital letters on the lower left margin. From an edition of 200 prints (the plate is numbered in Arabic numerals and in pencil on the lower right margin, but the numeration is erased).
A wonderful original print with Campigli's unmistakable naif style, representing a weaver. The female figure, protagonist of the composition, is working with the loom and her gaze seems to be focused on the beholder.
In excellent conditions, this contemporary artwork is a beautiful piece of a protagonist of the XX century.
