Gioncataro is an amazing original artwork, watercolour on ivory-colored paper, realized by the talented artist Michela De Vito in 1820 ca.

Hand-titled " Gioncataro " in pencil on the lower margin.  Good conditions, except for some rips on the lower margin, and an abrasion on the higher right corner, with usual burnished margins.

This original watercolor represents a man caught whilst walking, with one leg in front of the other. He is carrying a basket and a vessel.

Noteworthy is the artist's draftmanship, with which she was able to create soft and sinuous outlines filled with a sensible coloration.
