Safari - Green Elephant
Acrylic on canvas, realized by Giuseppe Zumbolo.
Excellent condition.
Rom the safari cycle. The work represents an elephant that comes towards the observer. The shape, like a fossil footprint, is obtained by folding the canvas, subsequently painted with acrylic. The folds of the canvas both horizontally and vertically give shape to the green painted pachyderm. The idea is to represent in an original way these mammoth animals which are powerful, but at the same time fragile, in our modern world as their ideal habitat shrinks more and more.
