"From my time living in a studio in the woods, on the Niagara Escarpment, located in Ontario, Canada.  That experience provided me with the opportunity to take excursions into the forest on a daily basis.  It was a period of time when I was able to reflect on nature, away from the busyness of urban life, during each of the four seasons of the year. "

"Life Cycles have always been an enduring subtext throughout my work.  During my time living in this secluded woodland, I took hundreds of photographs from nature.  This particular scene has always provided me with a sense of calm.  It brings me back to all of the senses that I experienced with a morning walk in the woods.  Even the repellent Pine needles could not escape the embrace of morning dew."
