Giuseppe Malandrino  (Modica, 1910 - Rome, 1979). Malandrino was an active protagonist of the 20th century, a dreamer who has been able to transform his artistic projects into reality. Giuseppe Malandrino lives art in its authentic meaning as a search for beauty, adherence to reality, continuous experimentations towards new forms of expression. He left Modicaand then he moved to Rome, where he attended the studio of Giacomo Balla who made his debut in the I Grande Esposizione d'arte futuristic that Filippo Tommaso Marinetti set up in Piazza Adriana.
