This beautiful etching is dedicated to Michel Lessens, the talented assistant of Piero and Aldo Crommelynck, the printers of a series of Picasso’s graphic works in 1960s.

In 1968, Pablo Picasso was able to dedicate his time so exclusively to etching thanks to the presence of the brothers Piero and Aldo Crommelynck, who had set up their studio near Picasso's villa near Mougins, Notre-Dame-de-Vie.
