Zolfi  is a colored lithographed original manifesto on cardboard, realized around 1905 by the Italian artist  Gian Emilio Malerba  (Milan, 1880 - 1926). Printed by Officine Ricordi, Milan, this advertising poster for " Zolfi Poggi and Astengo Savona " is inspired by the Art Nouveau graphic style.

This is a wonderful vintage advertising poster for the sulfer distributed by Poggi & Astengo, (diluted sulfer was used on grapes to prevent disease and fight parasites). These inscriptions are printed on the lower margin, under the image, " E. Malerba / Off. G. Ricordi and C. Milano / 100 x 200 ". In excellent conditions, except for two abrasions of the paper on the higher corners.

This modern artwork shows the vintage  Art Nouveau  taste of the time and Malerba's draftsmanship with this artistic technique.
