Woman and Horse is an original drawing in watercolor on cardboard realized by Jean-Raymond Delpech (1916-1988) in 1959. 

Hand-signed and dated on the lower right. The state of preservation of the artwork is mint (holes and tears along the margin). 

Includes frame: 54x 1.5 x 39 cm-

Jean-Raymond Delpech (1988-1916) was a French painter, engraver, and illustrator, who was mostly influenced by the countryside of his childhood. Delpech studied at the School of Fine Arts in Paris and was awarded the first prize of Rome in engraving intaglio in 1948, gaining much success in Italy. He also produced postage stamps, illustrations for books and magazines, theater sets (for Dullin), medals, paintings, and even stained glasses. From 1944 to 2004, his work was showcased in numerous exhibitions, both individual and collective.
