Vintage Table Lamp  is an excellent artwork realized in the Second half of the XX Century by the Italan designer Romeo Rega. The lamp is realized in brass and has a square base. The work has been created by  the Italian designer  Romeo Rega  (Rome, 1925 - Rome, 1968). In 1943, at the age of 18, he was drafted into the army as a driver, a position he held for two years. In 1945, the year of the Liberation, he came into contact with what he himself would call "the Master", an excellent blacksmith and forger, from whom he learned the art of iron. In 1970, he met the film manager Massimo Saraceni who pushed him to broaden his entrepreneurial horizons. The 70s represent a real revolution for the Italian cultural landscape, they are the "golden years" of design. In this sparkling context, Romeo is able to creatively apply the traditional methods of forge and wrought iron processing to new industrial materials such as brass, steel and perspex. Thus was born the famous “Romeo Rega” brand, and the serial production of its furniture began in the factory in vicolo Pian due Torri 72/74, in the Roman district of Magliana. The "four rods" tables, "zeta" consoles and "obelisk" lamps are some of his most famous pieces.
