Untitled  it's a gorgeous abstract composition full of lively colours. It's a very beautiful example of Northern European Expressionism and the most interesting feature of the artwork is the high contrast among different colours and between pure black and bright colours. The work has been realized by  Karel Appel  (Amsterdam, 1921 – Zurich, 2006) is one of the most important exponent of European Expressionism. In 1948 he founded Co.Br.A mouvement with Corneille, Jorn, Constant and Alechinsky; they gave life to an interesting Informal art mouvement in North-Europe characterized by the use of violent colours, the abstract compositions and the retrieval of Scandinavian traditions.
