The Scrap Yard
The Scrap Yard is a splendid etching realized by the Italian artist Riccardo Tommasi Ferroni (1934-2000).
Hand-signed in pencil on the lower right margin and numbered in pencil and in Arabic numerals on the lower left margin. From an edition of 50 prints .
Tommasi Ferroni's style is recognizable in the fluid hatching, in the deep blacks and in the metaphysical, visionary, and surreal subject matter: the metal scrap lies in a forest.
The state of preservation is excellent, except for some small ink errors on the edge of the plate. A dry-stamp with a lily in a circle is on the lower right margin under the signature.
A sophisticated piece to admire every day comfortably at home!
