The graphic work of Eugene Berman

With a preface and notes by Eugene Berman and a foreword by Russell Lynes;  over 700 black and white reproductions

Eugene Gustavovitch Berman (1899-1972) was a brilliant painter, graphic artist, scenic designer, and collector of classic antiquities and primitive art. His works can be found at the major galleries of America and Europe, such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Chicago Art Institute, and many other public and private institutions.

Slipcover with flaps, top edge of front and spine damaged; shows some signs of wear, a usual yellowing of the paper and sporadic foxed traces. Anyway, the illustrations are not compromised.

A really beautiful volume to enrich your private and sophisticated library!
