Hand-signed   in black ink on the lower margin at the center.

From the volume ' Scènes de la vie privée et publique des animaux ', published by Garner frères in 1869, Paris, this wonderful satiric illustration represents a chemist-goose pounding some compounds with the mortar.

Very good conditions, except for some water stains and some usual yellow stains as signs of time on the lower margin, including a passpartout (48 x 33 cm).
