This artwork belongs to the artist's series of Op Art artworks. In the late sixties and early seventies, indeed, Padovan focused his artistic research on the Op Art movement. In this period, he made three different types of works, based respectively on the reference to graphics screens for the decomposition of an image, on collages, and on reflections.
