Francesco Galante (1884-1972) was one of the last painters of the nineteenth-century Neapolitan tradition. He left an enormous pictorial and graphic production, with works present in many museums and art galleries in Europe and illustrations for editions of Neapolitan songs, for newspapers and periodicals, as well as for novels.
