The artwork is the plate n. 24 from a suite of 52 plates entitled  " Modes et Manières du jour à Paris à la fin du 18e siècle et au commencement du 19e siècle" ,  printed by Bureau du Journal des Dames, Paris [1798-1808].

On the higher part is printed the number of plate: " Modes &c. N° 24."

Original title printed on the lower center, "Prends Vite, /(Coiffure en cheveux)".

In excellent condition, with vivid colors and including an elegant cardboard Passepartout, cm 25 x 19.
