Olga Klein Astrachan (1907-1999) was a French painter and ceramist born in St. Petersburg. She studied at the Higher Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin (Germany). Subsequently, she worked for Ulstein and Mosse, she made the sets and costumes for " The Blue Bird " at the theater of Jushny. In 1933, she returned to France, in Paris. In 1937, she was noticed by André Warnod at the International Universal Exhibition where she was invited by Raymond Cogniat. In 1937, she married Loca Astrachan. From 1940 to 1945, Olga Klein Astrachan lived in Toulouse. At the end of World War II, she returned to Paris and participated in various salons, houses of culture, and galleries. In 1948, Olga Klein Astrachan started practicing the art of ceramics.
