René François Xavier Prinet (Vitry-le-François, 1861 - Bourbonne, 1946); Prinet was a French painter, illustrator, portraitist and decorator. He exhibited at the Salon des Artists Français and at the Salon des Tuileries. In 1986, a great exhibition was held at the Musée Bourdel, Paris. The artist gained two special medals in 1888 and a golden medal in 1890.
