Paulownia Flower   is an excellent B/W srawing on paper. The work belongs to the series  Herbarium Planetarium that is a travel diary mapping the natural places, in particular those in which has been sought a new harmony between nature and art, man and cosmos: “Monte Verità” at Ascona; the "Paradise Plantation" created by Joseph Beuys in Bolognano, Abruzzo; Todtnauberg, in the Black Forest, close to the hut where Heidegger wrote "Being and Time”; the “Baruchello Foundation” in the Roman countryside; but also in the artist's garden, in Orto Botanico in Roma, in Parco Sempione in Milan, or in the famous plain of Castelluccio in Norcia or in Andalusia in the surroundings of Cazalla de la Sierra.  Sixty drawings of this series have been exhibited in the solo show  Effemeridi del Giardino  at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Lissone (2019), entirely dedicated to works focused on the theme of nature, from 2002 to 2019.

The work has been realized by the Italian contemporary artist Andrea Fogli  (Rome, 1959). Fogli is an neosymbolist Italian artist who makes sculptures, drawings and small paintings. He is also a writer. His public solo-exhibitions have been held at Rupertinum-Museum Moderner Kunst, Salzburg (2000), and at Galleria d'Arte Moderna, Bologna (2002), both curated by Peter Weiermair, and at MARTA, Herford (2006) by invitation of Jan Hoet. A large retrospective have been held at Casino dei Principi, Museums of Villa Torlonia, Rome (2013). His works by lui are present in the collections of MART, Trento and Rovereto; MARTA, Herford; MACRO, Rome; Ursula Blickle Stiftung, Kraichtal; Gallery of Modern Art, Bologna; Civic Gallery of Drawing, Modena; Parkview Museum Beijing / Singapore.
