Mater Tellus   is an excellent B/W Lithograph on paper. One of the lithographs was printed in a few copies by Martin Gredler in Salzburg when the artist was teaching at the Summeracademy of Fine Arts in Salzburg. Unlike the three commissioned by the Summeracademy, the drawing was made on stone, which gives the work a quality not always present in the usual lithographic production in which the drawing (made with greasy pencil) is reproduced on stone

The work has been realized by the Italian contemporary artist Andrea Fogli  (Rome, 1959). Fogli is an neosymbolist Italian artist who makes sculptures, drawings and small paintings. He is also a writer. His public solo-exhibitions have been held at Rupertinum-Museum Moderner Kunst, Salzburg (2000), and at Galleria d'Arte Moderna, Bologna (2002), both curated by Peter Weiermair, and at MARTA, Herford (2006) by invitation of Jan Hoet. A large retrospective have been held at Casino dei Principi, Museums of Villa Torlonia, Rome (2013). His works by lui are present in the collections of MART, Trento and Rovereto; MARTA, Herford; MACRO, Rome; Ursula Blickle Stiftung, Kraichtal; Gallery of Modern Art, Bologna; Civic Gallery of Drawing, Modena; Parkview Museum Beijing / Singapore.
