Fresh and delicate impression representing Madame de Pompadour and a male figure paying "Acis and Galatea" in front of Louis XV and the rest of the court of Versailles.

The artwork was realized by Adolphe Lalauze (1838 - 1906),  a prolific French etcher and artist who realized illustrations for many books.
