"Lugenbrucke"   is an original Black and white héliogravure on cream-colored cardboard realized by  Choisy Le Conin , pseudonym of  Franz Von Bayros  (Agram, 1866 – Vienna, 1924).

From Mappe, a portfolio of 50 original prints (héliogravure or cliché from watercolors, of which 14 are colored) made around 1921 by Choisy Le Conin, with a preface of von Rudolph Hans Bartsch and published by Ed. Strache, Wien, Prag, Leipzig.

This is one of the specimen facente parte della total circulation of 500 prints. Ours is the most complete original edition.

In perfect conditions, with a protective tissue with the title of the subject,  Lugenbrucke , on the bottom center.

Franz Von Bayros  was an artist who interpreted Art Nouveaoau or Liberty to great effect. Not only for an evident stylistic adhesion in the floral motifs and in the flexibility of objects and figures, but because he was able to interpret the joyful atmosphere - and in some cases very transgressive - of the Belle époque.
