Le Théâtre Futuriste Synthétique
Le Théâtre Futuriste Synthétique (Sans technique - Dynamique - Simultané - Autonome - Alogique - Irréel). Original Edition, published in Milan on May 11, 1915. French version of the Manifesto Il Teatro Futurista Sintetico, published in 1915. Edited by F.T. Marinetti, Emilio Settimelli, Bruno Corra. The Manifesto states the futurist aesthetic ideas on theatre, that has to be non-techincal, dynamic, independent, non-logic, unreal and contemporaneous, and so clearly in contrast with the old theatre, profoundly attacked and despised by Futurists. More than the relevance of their principles, agreeable or not, the manifesto has an extraordinary importance, since it put into words, even though violently, the whole revolutionary trend spread in Italy in the first decades of the 20th century. As all the futurist manifestos, it can be considered as a fundamental piece of italian literature in general, as well as one of the most important programmatic document of the Futurist movement. Language: French. Very browned along the fold and pages lightly yellowed. Good overall conditions.
