Le Paradis et la Péri is a wonderful black and white lithograph on applied China paper, realized in 1901 by the French artist Henri Fantin-Latour (Grenoble, 1836 - Buré, 1906).
From Robert Schumann’s series " Das Paradies und die Peri ". Signed on plate on the lower left margin.
In excellent conditions, with traces of previous gluing to the verso , some sporadic stains on the margins of the recto , and some darker lines near the previous passepartout.
One copy of this wonderful original print is preserved in the Collection of the National Gallery of Art, in Washington.
