The goat  is an interesting bronze sculpture realised by Pablo Picasso in early fifties using waste materials (150 kg, cm 1.20 x 1.20).
The passion for ceramics came to him thanks to Vallauris, a small French village which inspired him a lot; this sculpture was born out of the  Cabra d'Or  legend, circulating not only in Vallauris but also in all the Provence and in the Mediterranean basin.

With numerous b/w photographs.

Limited edition so divided:
- 50 numbered copies (1-50) signed by the author, including an etching made by Picasso for the volume and signed by him
- 3950 unnumbered copies.

Some drawings of the goat and the original etching have been exhibited at de Beaune Gallery in occasion of the publication of the book.
