La chèvre de Picasso
The goat is an interesting bronze sculpture realised by Pablo Picasso in early fifties using waste materials (150 kg, cm 1.20 x 1.20).
The passion for ceramics came to him thanks to Vallauris, a small French village which inspired him a lot; this sculpture was born out of the Cabra d'Or legend, circulating not only in Vallauris but also in all the Provence and in the Mediterranean basin.
With numerous b/w photographs.
