La Chambre  is an original artwork realizewd by the master of the Surrealism  Jean Cocteau  in the 1930s for the series  "Les Enfants Terribles"  published in 1935.

The original mark of the Pecci Blunt Collection appears on the lower right corner.

The artwork is a preparation drawing for the 40th plate of the book "La chambre (la ville chinoise" (The Room - the Chinese Town) and is an elegant and delicate drawing .
