Renzo Bussotti (Florence, 1925 - Padua, 2017) was an important painter and ceramist. Since 1947, he enlivened the Italian artistic scene with an intense exhibition activity: after the first exhibition at Galleria della Colonna, in Milan, he participated in many artistic events. He participated in the International Ceramic Exhibition of Faenza, the Triennal of Milan, the Biennal of Engraving Art at the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico, the Exhibition of Italian Painting in Bucarest. He also exhibited at important Italian museums and art galleries and wrote important reviews about graphic art and ceramic.
