Jovan Vulic

Jovan Vulic

Jovan Vulic (Yugoslavia, 1951) is a Yugoslav artist who, after graduating from the Belgrade Academy of Fine Arts, moved to Venice and Rome, where he studied with Montanarini, Gentilizi and Fazzini. Vulic creates art with an extreme rigorous chromatism: his first works reveal the Slavic influence in the represented shapes and colors, while the first Roman period casts a new light on the landscapes where the details almost show a natural naive vein. He works in Rome, where he resides, but his works are known in Europe and overseas.
