Montaina builds a new image from two details of two masterpieces of Italian art: the legs of Paolina Borghese by Antonio Canova and the legs caught in midair by the Baroque genius of Gian Lorenzo Bernini in the group of Il ratto di Proserpina .
This asymmetric image, strongly contrasted, and halfway between the abstract and the figurative, is the result of research on the concept of symmetry, so dear to the artist.
