Indien - Jodpoor Camp

Indien - Jodpoor Camp - 1 Marz 1893   - It is part of a journey to Asia performed by  prince Franz Ferdinand von Osterreich Este (1863-1914) , heir to the throne of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. 

Despite his affairs and the growing importance of his role within the Empire, he took a year off his duties to travel the world, from North Africa to India, East Asia, Australia, and America, where he attended the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair. 

This is a rare and important It is a rare and important testimony of the Asian side of his journey.

On the lower left margin there is written a name of the photographer,  Von Ed. Hodek jun Wien . Titled and dated, with photo’s number and place, on the bottom center. On the lower right margin there is written  aus dem k.u.k.Hof Atelier C. Pietzner Wien Brunn Teplitz Carlsbad Aussig .

In good condition, except for some signs of aging.
