Pierre Dufau (1908–1985) was a French architect. He is well-known for working on the reconstruction of Amiens after World War II, as well as on the railway station and the Tour Europlaza in Paris.
Emile Deschler (France, 1910-1991) was a French painter. In 1930, he was admitted to the National School of Fine Arts of Paris, in the department of Architecture with the professor Rogert Expert. In 1937, he graduated in Architecture, and, in the same year, he obtained the Golden Medal at the International Exposition in Paris. After two years, he obtained a scholarship in Liban and the bursary of the Ministry of National Education. From 1946 to 1976, he devoted himself to architecture and often travelled in North Africa. From 1977, he dedicated himself to painting and drawing again. His drawings are very interesting for the strokes and the realism of his figures; the nudes appear elegant, brilliant, and intense.
