Antonio Ligabue  (1899 – 1965) was an Italian painter. He is the most famous of the Italian naïf. In 1930, encouraged by the sculptor M. Mazzacurati, dedicated himself to the depiction of ferocious animals with violent colours, a sign of his psychic fragility.
