Ginori Blue Vase is an original glass vase created by Richard Ginori . The "Richard-Ginori" ceramic factory was born in 1896 from the acquisition of the ancient Doccia factory, founded by the Marquis Carlo Ginori in 1737, by the "Richard Ceramic Company" owned by Giulio Richard. The creator of the fusion Augusto Richard, son of Giulio, entrusts the artistic direction of the nascent manufacture to Luigi Tazzini who directs its production towards the new Art Nouveau style coming from northern Europe. The production of the first decade of the century, in an elegant Liberty style and soon attentive to the new Secessionist influences from Austria and Germany, was presented in Turin in 1898 and 1902, in Milan in 1903 and 1906 and in Bologna in 1907, always imposing itself on the market and entering into direct competition with the most important Italian and European artistic ceramics manufacturers of the time.
